I’m Matt Dorsey and I’m running to be your next Saratoga Springs City Court Judge. I believe I have the experience, dedication, and commitment to do the job well. Saratogians deserve nothing less.

My strong legal experience includes over a decade of general practice here in Saratoga Springs, where I’m part of family law firm dating back three generations. During my career, I’ve handled virtually every type of case within the City Court’s jurisdiction.

I also have a history of dedication to public service. I previously served as Saratoga Springs City Attorney and Special Counsel to the City. In addition, I had the honor of working in Washington, D.C. for the Administrations of former President Bush and former President Clinton.

I’ve also enjoyed a longtime commitment to our community. I’ve served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Saratoga Springs Rotary Education Foundation for ten years, and I’m proud to have founded The Saratoga Springs Memory Walk to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

On a personal note, I’m a longtime resident of Saratoga Springs. My wife, Stephanie, and I are raising our daughter Grace here, and we’re proud to call Saratoga Springs our home.
